One of the funnest days ever!

I can't believe it's been over a month since my last blog. We have been so busy, in a good way!:) One of our adventures this month was spelunking in the Bloomington Caves. It was so fun and scary!! I was constantly suppressing surges of claustrophobia....and insanity. While army crawling, sliding and rappelling 240 feet into the depths of the earth, I thought to myself, "Smart people do not do this." Oh but it was so worth it! The spacious cavern at the bottom of the plunge branched off into numerous rooms and crawl spaces, taking us down even further into the unknown. It was a trill a minute, an adrenaline junkies paradise. We saw a few bats which thankfully didn't try to gnaw on our skulls. After hours of rigorous squatting and climbing, our legs "Went Elvis" and shook without warning as we ascended the slippery walls leading to the entrance. I'll admit I was relieved to see the light of day. It was one of those experiences where every muscle left aching was a happy reminder of a perfect day.

How cool! Did you go with just your hubby, or did you take the kids?

No kids on that trip. It was pretty dangerous even for us adults. :)

Uummm...I'm a little offended Trina. I thought the funnest day ever was when we went to Kolob. Let's see if you are invited again. Totally joking....

That sounds like so much fun! Did you have someone with you that had done it before or did you just wing it? I want to try it now. Kory probably doesn't so much but that is just my type of adventure! So fun for you guys.
