The Birthday Boy!

Trentin is six years old!! This statement is so shocking to me that I have to think twice every time I say it. How is he growing up so quickly? To celebrate his birthday we had a kid party at McDonalds. I sent invitations with Trentin for his class, come to find out he handed them out to random kids here and there so we had no idea who would show up! As you can see from the picture below, GIRLS showed up, lots of them. I couldn't help but have a sense of foreboding as I pondered his teenage years!! Aw but the cutest part of the day was when he came flopping into the living room wearing his new, slightly oversized, Batman slippers. He said to us with a slight lisp, " I just love my new slippers. Thank you!" followed by hugs and kisses. Of course this brought big smiles to our faces. Happy Birthday Trentin! We LOVE you!!
