Little Leaguers!

I can't tell you how proud I am of my two little baseball players. This season has been so much fun. Blakely is playing on the Astro's team for the minor league here in Hurricane. He's the smallest little shrimp on his team (looks so cute in is uniform that barely fits him, even has the number zero..)but doesn't let it get to him. He has complete confidence in himself and is best buds with even the most experienced players. When he's up to bat he consistently hits the ball. I can't help but smile when I watch him strut to the outfield with a back pocket full of sunflower seeds. We have had so much fun watching and cheering for him this season. Only three games left! Good luck Blakers!!

Trentin has been playing T-Ball on the Hurricane Blue Team. This was his first baseball experience and he learned a lot of skills for next year. He was a good little hitter, but I'm pretty sure his favorite part of the games were the treats he got once the games were over. The treats were also his favorite part of Blakely's games. I call him the concessions guru. He can rattle of a list of what you can buy...there's popcorn, and snow cones, and nachos, and candy and.... Give him a dollar and he's good for the rest of the evening. One time we caught him talking a little girl into buying him something. (Like I've said before..ladies man. Oh boy!)

This season has been fun but exhausting at the same time. I think a lot of little league parents would agree the practices and late night games take their toll. It's been so worth it and we are very proud of our boys for doing so well and staying positive throughout the whole season. Can't wait for next year!
