Anyone Got a Pumpkin?

So yesterday I got home, started unloading groceries and I heard a humming sound followed by a thump, thump.. I realized there was a humming bird stuck in the garage, frantically trying to get out of a closed window. The poor little thing was half dazed with it's beak open, obviously exhausted. I hurried the rest of the groceries in the house, came back out and started the climb over mountains of unorganized clutter, determined to help. OK, so this is the slightly crazy part. I started talking to it (bird whisperer)then slowly held my finger up...and the tiny bird stopped flying and landed on it!! Seriously I felt like Cinderella! I moved my hand so it could see the way out. It rested there, panting for about fifteen seconds, and flew away. I thought to myself "There's no way that just happened!" How cool is that? Maybe I should see if I can get some mice to make me a new dress! :P
